Sveti Stefan and Downscale Virpazar, Montenegro

Oh for goodness sakes... Sveti Stefan is so exclusive, you can't even walk onto the small isthmus to gawk! This former fishing village in Montenegro became a hideaway for the rich and famous between the 1960's-1980's. It is all now private property and will cost in the hundreds of dollars and up (into the thousands per night) to stay in Sveti Stefan.
Downscale Virpazar is an entirely different story. A little resort with two star hotels on the shore of Lake Skadar. Great food. Wonderful hiking. And a haven for bird-watchers. How dissimilar could two places be.
